MotoStudent is an international competition, promoted by the Moto Engineering Foundation, between universities from all around the world. Student teams face the challenge of designing and developing the prototype of a racing motorcycle, similar to those used in the Moto3 World Championship class.
The students will compete to design, manufacture and test a motorcycle using common elements. In this way, they will face the challenge of undertaking a real business plan in the industrial sector through a project where they must design, develop and build for three semesters a prototype motorcycle competition under the FIM Moto3 regulations. The competition presents two different categories: MotoStudent Petrol, where the participating prototypes will assemble an internal combustion 250cc engine, and MotoStudent Electric, a category of where the participating prototypes are powered by a 100% electric system.
